The Australian Standing Stones are situated in Glen Innes and is a major National Celtic Monument. They were opened in 1992, honouring Celtic pioneers from Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Cornwal, Isle of Man, Brittany, Galicia and Asturias and are located in Centennial Parklands, Glen Innes and feature 38 locally sourced granite stones forming a solar calendar and a Celtic Cross.
